Road Trip Ready: The Only Snack List You’ll Ever Need

What’s a road trip without a stash of your favorite snacks? Whether you’re cruising along coastal highways or powering through mountain roads, the key to surviving (and thriving!) during those long drives is snacks, snacks, and even more snacks—and I don’t take that lightly.


Here’s what I packed in my latest road trip snack haul:

🍭Lollipop: A classic sweet treat to keep you going on long stretches… and super helpful when your ears start popping at higher altitudes!

🌈Trolli & Nerds: These tangy treats add a burst of flavor and fun. Perfect for sharing… or not 😉🍫Milky Way: A must-have for chocolate lovers. Rich, creamy, and delightfully chewy, hitting the sweet spot every time.                                                                                                       

🍿Popcorn & Chips: No road trip is complete without crunchy classics. Easy to munch and super versatile—whether you’re into sea salt, BBQ, or cheddar.

🥨Pretzels & Ritz Crackers: Salty, buttery, and totally dependable. Plus, they won’t melt in a hot car!

🔥Flamin’ Hot Cheetos: Brings the heat with every bite and pairs perfectly with a bold playlist. Fair warning though, they’re highly addictive.

🧁Little Bites: Soft, sweet, and super snackable. These mini muffins are a nostalgic win.

🍫ZBars: A slightly healthier option when you want to feel just a little bit better about your snack choices. Bonus: they keep you full longer!

Healthier Picks for the Long Haul


If you're road tripping for a few days or just want a better balance, here are some healthier essentials I like to throw in as well…

🥣Dry Cereal: Perfect for snacking by the handful—think Cheerios, granola, or puffed rice. Bonus: no spoon required!

🍎Fruits: Apples, grapes, oranges, and bananas are all road-friendly and packed with natural energy.

🧀String Cheese: Portable protein! Pro tip: just keep them in a small cooler for freshness!

🥜Trail Mix or Nuts: A power-packed combo of protein and healthy fats to keep you satisfied longer.

🍶Water Bottles + Juice Boxes: Don’t forget hydration! Reusable water bottles are a must, and juice adds a little sweetness.
